ICF’s Early Education Services Line of Business seeks a Program Assistant to support a large early education training and technical assistance (TA) team on early care and education (ECE) projects. The Program Assistant contributes to the development of innovative, high-quality products and services in support of multiple projects. The Program Assistant works across teams to support technology needs, ensure resources are accessible and compliant with Section 508 standards, and support the creation and review of written content.
The ideal candidate will have both a background and experience in supporting a large, diverse team, and experience using various technology platforms including Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
The position is full-time and remote and may involve limited travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the 508 compliance process for project resources as team expert, ensuring all materials are 508 compliant for posting to federal client website.
- Provide support for technical assistance events and services such as webinars, training sessions, conference calls, and information-sharing events.
- Provide support in the development and revision of written and web-based resources and presentations.
- Provide support for national webinars by distributing meeting materials, tracking action items, and providing key related analysis, materials, and other supporting resources.
- Apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks and develop proficiency in a range of processes or procedures.
- Provide support with document formatting, citations, and other needs assigned.
- Provide support for meeting logistics by sending invitations, tracking registrations, following up with participants, and providing Zoom and Microsoft Teams technical support, as needed.
- Build strong, positive relationships with project staff through ongoing communication, collaborative planning, and shared problem-solving to meet the needs of clients, states, and territories.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a support on high-priority tasks that have tight timelines.
- Ensure quality control for all technical assistance and training deliverables by consistently implementing established quality control protocols and procedures.
- Engage in team meetings, internal workgroups, and other collaborative projects, as requested.
- Maintain a consistent work schedule and communicate with supervisor any changes to the schedule that impact availability during regular work hours.
- Work closely with the project team experts following the guidance of the task leads.
- Work under fairly limited direction with some instruction on day-to-day work and more detailed instructions on new assignments.
- Support data collection tasks using Smartsheet, Excel, and other platforms.
- Support proposal development activities, as requested.
- Take notes during meetings, including staff meetings and federal workgroup meetings.

Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 4+ years’ experience providing support to a large and diverse team, preferably in the field of early childhood education, public policy, or management.
- 4+ years’ experience utilizing Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Smartsheet, or similar technology.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, public policy, or management.
- Interest or experience in using knowledge of adult learning styles in the creation of products.
- Experience with data collection and analysis.
- Knowledge of 508 compliance.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams) and other e-learning webinar, and project management tools including SmartSheet.
- Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish proficiently.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$41,614.00 - $70,744.00
