Job Description Summary
Design and implement programs for both Branded and Private Label sales to retail grocery in assigned regional geography markets. Sell direct to major retailers, wholesalers, and distributors. Build relationships with retail accounts, wholesalers, and distributors including top management, merchandising, accounting, advertising, operations, logistics and finance. Collaborate with internal sales development and marketing teams to achieve sales objectives. Develop and manage sales plans and ensures equitable disposition of customer problems. Prepare sales and financial reporting. May be assigned to special markets/complex product lines that require significant client relationship skills.

Job Description
- Deliver sales goals using appropriate resources available, balancing volume and profit goals and managing a dynamic environment to achieve results.
- Develop and deliver ambitious, articulate, consultative, fact-based selling proposals and presentations leveraging key insights with poise and confidence.
- Interface across functions at the customer to develop mutually beneficial programs and actionable solutions.
- Develop joint scorecards with strategic business partners to measure plan success.
- Incorporates financial resources (trade & shopper marketing) into the planning process to drive market share.
- Develop action plans which define strategic and tactical initiatives for the customer in accordance with customer segmentation and align with Lamb Weston strategic direction.
- Maximize the ROI to Lamb Weston on new product and brand introductions.
- Anticipate and address execution issues/objections before they become a problem.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration internally and externally.
- Continually monitor and evaluate customer/marketplace insights to anticipate opportunities.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum 8 years’ progressive sales experience, to include account management in the Retail Grocery Channel
- Sales management experience in the management of multiple product categories and customers
- Experience calling on retail headquarters
- In-depth knowledge of sales, trade and marketing concepts and methods
- Strong skills in development and maintenance of customer relations and promotions management
- Capable of effectively interpreting and using multiple information resources to develop strategies and tactics
- Proficient in PC applications. Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce, SAP and DOMO are a plus.
- Able to establish and maintain strong internal and external working relationships
- Strong interpersonal and directing skills
- Proven fiscal responsibility
- Valid US driver’s license and ability to meet Company driving standards

A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $121,670.00 - $182,510.00
