Job description

PDMI is looking for a Manager of Benefits Configuration to join our team! This position will lead a dynamic team in optimizing plan design and implementation while driving efficiency and accuracy across our organization.

Since 1984, PDMI has provided pharmacy data processing and other flexible, scalable solutions to help our clients meet their business objectives. We offer transparent, pass-through pharmacy processing and other services for private label Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), vertically integrated health plans and hospital systems. In addition to Pharmacy Benefit Administrative Services, we offer 340B Administration, Hospice and Long-Term Care Services.

      Key Responsibilities:
      • Lead the Benefits Configuration team in designing, implementing, and administering client plan designs/changes.
      • Develop and improve policies, procedures, and performance metrics for configuration accuracy, team productivity, and efficiency.
      • Hire, train, coach, and empower team members to achieve operational excellence.
      • Oversee the creation of quality assurance resources to enhance testing and audit processes.
      • Collaborate with Business Analysts and QA teams to define business rules and testing scenarios.
      • Participate in client onboarding and serve as a trusted resource during client meetings.
      What We're Looking For:
      • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5+ years of related experience, including benefits configuration and claims adjudication.
      • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
      • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, system logic documentation, and data analysis.
      • Focus on Results: Strong skills in monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
      • Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and listening skills to effectively engage all levels of an organization.
      • Client-Centric Approach: Ability to interpret client data and requests, delivering tailored solutions.
