Role:

We are seeking a results-driven and collaborative Performance Director to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead exceptional performance marketing efforts for our home brands, with a focus on paid search and paid social, while also collaborating on email and SMS strategies. With a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making and innovation, you will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of these channels to deliver measurable success.

As the main point of contact for the brands you manage, you will lead communication, deliver actionable insights, and drive strategic initiatives. Partnering closely with the paid media, retention, creative, and BI teams, you will proactively solve challenges and ensure your brands achieve strong results in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

Your role within the D.Luxury team:

  • Strategic Planning
    • Leverage D.LUXURY’s thorough DigitalRx+ auditing process to establish the foundation for each brand’s ongoing strategy.
    • Collaborate with the Chief Strategy Officer to refine overarching brand strategies.
    • Ultize D.LUXURY’s industry benchmarks to inform the strategy and areas of focus.
    • Develop detailed project plans aligned with each brand’s unique goals and overarching strategy.
  • Performance Management:
    • Lead performance strategies across your brands, ensuring all initiatives align with business goals.
    • Share weekly insights using D.LUXURY’s DigitalRx Live automated dashboards to provide data-driven and actionable updates.
    • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with brands, presenting key insights and actionable recommendations to enhance performance.
    • Collaborate with the paid media team to develop media plans that align with overall budgets and strategic objectives.
    • Translate each brand’s marketing calendar into tactics for managed channels (e.g. paid media).
    • Ensure all activities are delivered within scope, on budget, and to the highest possible standard.
    • Provide excellent account management with prompt and consistent communication to build trust and reliability.
    • Focus on retaining brands by delivering outstanding performance and best-in-class service.
    • Serve as a thought leader and expert in e-commerce best practices, particularly within the home industry.
  • Collaboration:
    • Partner with the D.LUXURY paid media and retention teams to oversee day-to-day execution and track progress toward strategic goals.
    • Collaborate with the creative strategy team to develop and implement innovative paid social strategies for your brands.
    • Work closely with the BI team to enhance and evolve the DigitalRx Live platform.
    • Share insights from your brands with the wider team to help improve performance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of experience in paid media management for e-commerce brands, ideally within the home vertical. Experience managing paid search, paid social, or both, but you are now looking to run strategy instead of managing the accounts directly.
  • Both in-house and agency performance is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and implement impactful strategies.
  • A go-getter with a strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion for cutting-edge marketing.
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills.
