Locum Pharmacist Prescriber - Online Healthcare

Simple Online Healthcare is at the forefront of telemedicine, providing online consultations for a range of conditions. We’re looking for a skilled Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to join our team and help us deliver exceptional patient care.

This role will suit someone looking for a Locum Prescribing role (16 hours per week) with a particular focus on weight management/ GLP-1s. You’ll be assessing online consultations, managing patient health needs, and prescribing medications safely and effectively.  These roles are during the day with the options being over 7 days. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessments: Evaluate online consultations to understand patient health needs and medical histories.
• Safe Prescribing: Prescribe medications adhering to our high standards of patient care.
• Engagement: Work directly with our Patient Care Team to ensure exceptional clinical experiences for patients through digital mediums.
• Clinical Meetings: Actively participate in clinical meetings and help shape our clinical frameworks.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including GPhC guidance.
• Patient Support: Offer expert advice and support to patients regarding their prescriptions and overall health management.
• Service Development: Contribute to the ongoing development and expansion of our service offerings.

You:

• Qualified Prescriber: Independent Prescriber with a pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• Registered: With the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or equivalent body.
• Experienced: Experience working with GLP-1's.
• Communicative: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of managing sensitive information.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using digital health platforms for online pharmacy.
• Problem Solver: Proactive in implementing best practices and problem-solving.
• Flexible: Seeking flexible home working arrangements.
