The Job at a Glance

Unlimited Service is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of Azure cloud services, possess the ability to build and optimize cloud infrastructure, and have specific hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, Virtual Machines, and Azure Networking. The role requires expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Bicep and ARM templates), Microsoft Defender suite, scripting and APIs (PowerShell, MSGraph, KQL), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub to Azure), and Azure Policy. Azure Certifications are also essential. Please note, this is a full-time position working remote.

  

A Typical Day

  • Manage and maintain Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
  • Implement, manage, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM and BICEP templates.
  • Administer and manage Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Conditional Access policies.
  • Utilize Microsoft Graph for automation and management tasks.
  • Monitor and analyze logs using Kusto Query Language (KQL).
  • Work with the security team to ensure the security and compliance of our Azure environment.
  • Perform access reviews and audits.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement cloud solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and resources.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and security projects.
  • Develop and manage Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
  • Configure SAML SSO, OIDC, JIT, SCIM, and Enterprise Apps.
  • Optimize cost management and budgeting for Azure resources.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.

 

To Land This Opportunity

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Azure Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Cloud, Security, and Azure certifications preferred.
  • Proficiency in deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with ARM and BICEP.
  • Experience with Entra ID management and Conditional Access.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Graph and KQL.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Defender suite (MDO, MDCA, MDI, etc.).
  • Experience working with Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
  • Experience configuring SAML SSO, OIDC, JIT, SCIM, and Enterprise Apps.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools and pipelines (preferred).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools (preferred).
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) (preferred).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen.
