We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Engineer in NetApp storage solutions to join our team of support engineers. The Senior Engineer will serve as subject matter expert (SME) and the go-to authority for all aspects of NetApp technologies, providing technical leadership, strategic guidance, and hands-on expertise to drive the success of the team. You will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting complex issues across multiple customers in alignment with organizational objectives.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesProvide expert-level remote technical support for NetApp ONTAP, E-Series, and StorageGRID technologies across multiple customersTroubleshoot and diagnose technical issues related to NetApp systemsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, best practices, and standard operating proceduresMentor and train other support engineers in the team, sharing knowledge and best practicesStay current with the latest NetApp technologies, best practices, and certificationsParticipate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical issuesContribute to monitoring of team metrics and KPIs, ensuring the health and success of the serviceCollaborate with other cross-functional teams as necessary to provide excellent customer supportAct as a liaison between technical teams, management, and vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignmentSupport pre-sales or business development efforts by providing technical expertise and service design recommendationsOn call support for client escalated issues QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 10–15 years of hands-on experience with NetApp storage solutions and vendor supportProven track record in designing and managing enterprise storage environmentsExpert knowledge of NetApp ONTAP hardware, software, and associated features (e.g., RAID-DP, Snapshot, SnapVault, FlexClone, SnapMirror)Proficiency in SAN/NAS protocols, including iSCSI, FC, NFS, and SMBFamiliarity with hybrid cloud environments and NetApp’s cloud services (e.g., Cloud Volumes ONTAP)Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical and performance issues in environments and performance optimization skillsExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Excellent documentation, and presentation abilitiesNetApp Certified Data Administrator, NetApp Certified Support Engineer, NetApp Certified Implementation EngineerExperience with other storage vendors (e.g., Pure Storage, Dell EMC, HPE) is a plus Knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and their integration with storage systemsFamiliarity with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plusWhy AHEAD:

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
