POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Brand Manager is responsible for helping develop and execute the marketing strategic plans for their product portfolio, while ensuring those plans ladder to support the broader brand and company strategic priorities. This position is broad in its scope, but primarily requires expertise in 3 main areas: general management, marketing communication, & project management (including innovation).

 Essential Function Statement(s)

  • Help craft strategic direction of their product portfolio – while aligning to the Masterbrand brand standards
  • Help drive net revenue growth to achieve topline goals, without eroding profitability
  • Innovation/Renovation strategy, stage gate management, and product commercialization
  • Support Brand Manager in partnering with internal & external agencies on creative assets, campaign development and media plans
  • Conduct and analyze consumer research and syndicated data to inform business decision making
  • Lead competitive/consumer analysis and keep abreast on trends within the industry and category
  • Support Brand Manager in budget management
  • Provide support to sales channels: trade shows, in store creative direction, sales materials, etc.
  • Demonstrate leadership and executive presence in cross functional projects and Executive Leadership Team meetings
  • Help contribute to a positive culture of integrity, accountability, and high performance

Must be proficient with MS Office and have advanced Excel and PPT skills.

Other Requirements:       

  • 3+ years experience in brand or product management (dietary supplement experience a plus)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field experience (MBA preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills – experience with syndicated data highly preferred
  • Experience with new product innovation and managing a stage gate process
  • Strong eye for creative
  • Training or experience in managing and supporting profit centers and budgets
  • Cross functional leadership and the ability to influence and keep projects on task 
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills; demonstrated leadership and organization skills required; collaborative, team player

Pay, Benefits & Perks:

The estimated annual pay for this role is $90,000 to $110,000. This pay is an estimate and the exact compensation may vary depending on an applicant's location, skills, prior experience, professional qualifications, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may also include incentive compensation (i.e. bonus or commission) if applicable.
