Job description

This is a remote position.

This is a 6 month contract with possiblity of renewal.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Talent Acquisition Strategy
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify current and future staffing needs.
  • Develop and implement job descriptions, effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to attract top talent.

 

  1. Candidate Sourcing
  • Utilise various channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and professional networks, to source qualified candidates.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for critical roles.

 

  1. Screening and Interviewing
  • Review CVs and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial telephone or video screenings to assess candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate and participate in in-depth interviews with hiring managers.

 

  1. Candidate Experience
  • Ensure a positive experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with all applicants.
  • Provide feedback to candidates at each stage of the recruitment cycle.

 

  1. Employer Branding
  • Promote the company as an employer of choice through branding initiatives.
  • Represent the organisation at careers fairs, networking events, and online platforms.

 

  1. Compliance and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, equal opportunities regulations, and company policies.
  • Provide recruitment metrics and reports to management.

 

 



Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a recruiter, ideally in an internal or corporate setting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
    • Familiarity with employment laws and recruitment best practices.
  • Attributes:
    • Results-driven and detail-oriented.
    • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
