Data and Research Coordinator

The Last Mile (TLM) is looking for a Data and Research Coordinator who is dedicated to supporting TLM’s mission through organizational learning and growth. The Data and Research Coordinator will oversee much of TLM’s day to day data collection and student recruiting in facilities. This coordinator will support TLM’s Sr. Manager of Research & Analytics in building a culture of continuous organizational learning. 

Responsibilities:

• Recruit TLM students and alumni to participate in surveys; Increase participation rates by sending tailored reminders.
• Regularly audit TLM data against public databases.
• Support student recruitment and assist in implementing the process by which students are selected for participation in TLM.
• Support TLM’s research operations by drafting proposals and research protocols.
• Run basic data cleaning and analyses operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record demonstrating extremely high attention to detail
• One year of experience collecting and entering data
• Experience running basic functions in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (e.g., vlookup) 
• Lived experience in the justice system (strongly preferred)
• Experience working on randomized controlled trials (preferred)
• Experience with Salesforce (preferred)
• Experience with Stata, R, Python, SQL, or other data analysis programs and languages (preferred)
• Empathy, passion and understanding of TLM’s mission, pillars, and community interests

Compensation$48,000 to $80,000; Commensurate, based on experience
