Clinical Application Specialist - Hospital Patient Monitoring

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

work on the cutting edge of Patient Monitoring technology in a newly established Danish organization in a fast growing and dynamic market. As the new Application Specialist Patient Monitoring, you will be part of a team delivering advanced solutions for care of critically ill patients in Danish hospitals and your main focus will be educating and training user in the hospitals. In this role you will have a unique possibility to become a recognized expert and to make an important impact by helping our customers become more successful and knowledgeable.

This role will be focusing on South of Denmark and will be remote based.

You are responsible for

  • Training customers in Philips Patient Monitoring Solutions
  • Promoting Philips Patient Monitoring solutions during customer visits, product demonstrations, seminars and trade shows
  • Supporting new product launches
  • Configuring or managing the configuration of Philips solutions to accommodate clinical and/or operational workflow in the customer’s environment
  • Providing training for customers and/or employees in the use of complex situations for multiple solutions within the area of Patient Monitoring Solutions
  • Engaging with the pre-sales team early in the implementation process to ensure the customer’s requirements are captured in the statement of work
  • Providing remote and on-site support to customers
  • Being an active member of the application, education & clinical communities and proactively share knowledge, experience and lessons learned
  • Attending seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence and/or licensure

You are a part of

a highly skilled, dynamic and motivated team working within both service and sales. A team that delivers solutions aimed to enhance the patient and clinician experience across the continuum of care through collaboration and understanding the customer's needs. You will be part of the implementations of Philips Monitoring Services across Denmark, which are sold to our customers, typically hospitals.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A trained Nurse or similar background from within healthcare is a must have
  • Experienced with patient monitoring is preferred and you have the ambition to grow
  • Excellent pedagogical and presentation skills – you like to teach
  • Must have a driver´s license and be willing to travel by airplane
  • Fluency in English and Danish language is a must have
