What We Do
GOST-SS (Global Operations Support Team, Specialized Services) provides office support to First American nationally and is excited to have an opportunity to grow and expand the depth and quality of the services we provide.
We are searching for an experienced title professional to coordinate with the Title Advisor by providing expertise and knowledge regarding a variety of advanced support options we are evolving and building.

What You'll Do

  • Reviews complex coverage analysis and provides work up for approval
  • Resolves complex claims and escalated transactions
  • Properly prices commitments, endorsements, policies and guarantees using appropriate schedule of fees and charges
  • Researches property details and looks for back title on orders to confirm accuracy; coordinates with clients and searchers to reconcile discrepancies
  • Keeps responsible parties abreast of status or issues regarding title orders; direct questions to responsible parties
  • May participate in business development activities to maintain existing clients and acquire new clients
  • Proactively contacts vendors to ensure timely delivery of completed searches, escalate past due search requests, address issues with completed searches, and keep system updated
  • May assist offshore team by answering questions and resolving escalated issues
  • Utilizes company operating systems to coordinate/manage work flow, produce products and respond to customer requests

What You'll Bring 

  • Experience as a front-line title resource.
  • Experience working with global staff.
  • A thorough understanding of title documents and contracts in accordance with internal policies and procedures and applicable statutory and federal regulations.
  • Understanding of appropriate title functions with exposure to commercial transactions in a variety of geographic locations.
  • An appropriate and thorough understanding of the requirements of title insurance including commitments, pro forma, policies, open order, reading sales contracts, recording, and post-closing tasks.
  • A desire and ability to share title knowledge with others and to train and mentor staff as needed to perform title functions.
  • The desire and ability to coach, mentor, and train support staff to a high degree of quality and reliability.
  • Experience serving complex multi-site transactions – with understanding of the variability of client requirements and the concept of “starting with the end goal in mind.”
  • A desire to be a front line tester and subject matter expert on new process and technological initiatives by the division.
  • A desire to contribute to visionary activities as we strive to improve our efficiency and degree of quality.

Pay Range: $20.72- $27.62 Hourly

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
