Summary:
The Insurance Coordinator is an integral member of a team of loan servicing professionals responsible for the monitoring and management of incoming and outgoing insurance documentation, system management, lender insurance requirements, as well as the confirmation of reporting and data integrity. The person filling this position will work directly with the Insurance Analysts, Asset Managers, Escrow Managers, Closers, Borrowers, and Agents all with the intent on providing and maintaining compliance and the integrity of the insurance coverage for the BWE loan portfolio.
Major Responsibilities:
· Work directly with the Insurance Analysts, Senior Insurance Analyst and National Director of Insurance as an integral team member of the Insurance Operations Department.
· Ensure that information is added and updated into the various internal systems accurately and timely.
· Facilitate and oversee the collection process from external insurance providers of the annual insurance renewal documentation that includes ACORDS, Declaration pages, Endorsements, and Policies.
· Manage the integrity of the data that is provided ensuring all documentation is accurately labeled and archived accordingly.
· Maintain and modify lender insurance requirements for the portfolio of Life Company and Agency lenders.
· Assist with inputting all loan insurance requirements for newly onboarded or transferred loans.
· Assist with inputting all loan insurance requirements kicking off the annual insurance review for existing loans in the portfolio.
· Work collaboratively with the insurance team during Lender and Internal Compliance Audits.
· Provide internal insurance guidance and support internally.
· Partner effectively with the Asset Managers, Closers, Insurance Analysts, and Escrow Managers to help maintain the integrity of the insurance coverage for the portfolio.
· Communicate and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team atmosphere.
Minimum Requirements:
· High school diploma. Undergraduate business degree preferred.
· 1-2 years of experience with in Commercial Real Estate Insurance.
· Relevant experience in real estate finance and loan servicing a plus.
· Fluency in Microsoft Excel and Word programs, with experience in various Loan Servicing platforms or Salesforce a plus.
· Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, coordinate and communicate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
· Excellent organizational and communication skills.
