ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Client Growth Lead (B2B) at Apex Growth, you will oversee a portfolio of B2B clients within your designated pod, combining strategic growth initiatives with hands-on channel execution. This role is integral to client success and growth, requiring deep expertise in digital marketing channels and a proven ability to manage high-value client relationships. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Client Success, you will drive client satisfaction, retention, and expansion while ensuring that campaign performance meets the client’s goals and Apex Growth’s high standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Strategic Client Partnership and Growth
Serve as the primary contact for your B2B clients, establishing strong, trust-based relationships to understand and support their business objectives.
Develop and execute strategic growth plans, aligning Apex Growth’s services with client goals, industry trends, and market opportunities.
Identify and pursue upsell opportunities to expand client partnerships, contributing to long-term revenue growth.
Strategic Oversight and Campaign Performance Management
Partner closely with Functional Leads (Search, Social, Creative) to ensure that campaign strategies align with client goals and are effectively executed to meet performance targets.
Act as a last line of defense, stepping in to make in-platform adjustments if needed to meet client KPIs, while primarily overseeing and guiding strategy rather than direct channel management.
Monitor campaign performance, supporting Functional Leads in ongoing testing, analysis, and refinement to maximize client ROI and adapt to evolving client needs.
Pod Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
Lead the daily operations of the B2B client pod, coordinating resources and ensuring efficient project execution and high client satisfaction.
Collaborate with Functional Leads (Search, Social, Creative) to ensure cohesive service delivery and alignment on client strategy.
Serve as the escalation point for client issues within your pod, resolving challenges swiftly and effectively to maintain service quality.
Performance Monitoring, Reporting, and Analysis
Track key metrics for client satisfaction, campaign success, and pod performance, using data to inform strategies and optimize results.
Oversee client reporting, ensuring data accuracy, presentation quality, relevance of content, on-time delivery, and depth of insights, offering actionable recommendations for growth and engagement.
Use data-driven insights to address underperforming areas within campaigns and implement immediate changes to achieve client objectives.
Client Retention and Expansion Strategy
Work proactively with clients to retain and expand their accounts, developing custom growth plans that align with Apex Growth’s capabilities and client needs.
Partner with the Senior Vice President of Client Success, to pitch new services or enhanced strategies that drive further engagement with B2B clients.
Process Improvement and Best Practice Sharing
Contribute to ongoing improvements in pod processes and service delivery to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Share B2B-specific insights and best practices with other Client Growth Leads and Functional Leads, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Maggie Valiunas (VP of Growth & Creative Strategy): You’ll report directly to Maggie, partnering with her to align on overarching growth strategies, client narratives, and ensuring creative solutions drive impactful results.
Channel Strategy Leads: On an ongoing basis you’ll collaborate with other channel leads across Search, Social, Display, Video, and Creative Strategy to deliver cohesive, results-driven campaigns for our B2B clients.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience: 5+ years in growth marketing with a strong focus on managing B2B client campaigns across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Google Search.
Results-Oriented: Proven track record in delivering measurable results in B2B growth marketing and client relationship management.
Leadership Skills: Experience leading cross-functional teams, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
Analytical Mindset: Data-driven approach to strategy and performance improvement, with expertise in monitoring metrics and optimizing campaigns.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, manage stakeholders, and influence decision-makers.
Creative Knowledge: Familiarity with best practices for creative development in digital marketing.
Agency Experience (Preferred): Experience working in an agency or similarly fast-paced environment is a plus.
