THE OPPORTUNITY

In this role, you will be the central point of contact for driving strategic programs that enhance our competitive positioning and empower our sales teams. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders—including Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Sales—to gather insights, analyze market trends, and develop strategies to differentiate Cyera in the data security landscape. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent program management skills, and a keen understanding of how to leverage competitive intelligence to fuel growth and innovation.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Management & Strategy

  • Lead end-to-end program management for strategic initiatives focused on competitive positioning and market differentiation.
  • Define clear goals, milestones, and KPIs to track program success and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape the long-term strategy of the Sales Enablement function, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Competitive Intelligence

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive competitive intelligence framework, analyzing competitor products, solutions, and market positioning.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making and product roadmap planning.
  • Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and briefs for the Sales, Product, and Marketing teams.

Sales Enablement & Training

  • Develop and maintain competitive battle cards, playbooks, and other enablement materials to help Sales teams articulate our unique value proposition.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for Sales and channel partners, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to win against competition.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for competitive positioning, assisting Sales with RFP responses and complex deal support when needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Management to influence the product roadmap based on competitive gaps and market opportunities.
  • Leverage Product Management intel on competitive intelligence to craft and deliver strategic sales enablement positioning for initial conversations, POVs, demos and more.
  • Work with Marketing to craft compelling messaging and campaigns that highlight our differentiators.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Customer Success to integrate feedback loops and continuously refine our offerings based on competitive insights.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Produce regular reports and dashboards to communicate key insights, competitive developments, and program outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to measure program impact, optimize processes, and recommend strategic adjustments.



Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree (MBA or MS) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Product Management, or Technical Strategy roles within the cybersecurity or data security sector.

Technical Expertise

  • Solid understanding of data security principles, including encryption, data governance, cloud security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic recommendations and actionable plans.

Program Management Skills

  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional programs from inception to launch.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with experience using project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.

Competitive Intelligence & Market Research

  • Familiarity with competitive analysis frameworks, market research methodologies, and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to distill large amounts of data into concise, insight-driven recommendations.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships and driving alignment across diverse teams.

Leadership & Influence

  • Self-starter with an ownership mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strategic thinker who can lead executive-level discussions on market positioning and competitive threats.


COMPENSATION INFORMATION: 

In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.

This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.​
