Job description

Job Title: Staff DevOps Engineer – CI/CD Pipeline (Remote/Flexible)

 

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated staff level DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Software Research and Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust software deployment processes, configuring SDLC environments, automating workflows, and provisioning infrastructure code to support our cutting-edge product development.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, build, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines.
  • Leverage multi-cloud expertise to manage and optimize application deployment.
  • Define and uphold comprehensive software configuration management plans.
  • Automate SCM workflows, including E2E pipelines, DevSecOps, and compliance as code.
  • Enhance developer productivity and streamline test automation processes.
  • Continuously improve product quality and development efficiency through innovative solutions.
  • Scale and optimize CI/CD workflows to meet evolving project needs.
  • Provide expert DevOps coaching and support to development teams.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and resolve deployment issues on both Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms, AWS and/or Azure DevOps.
  • Proven background in software engineering or architecture.
  • Proficiency in Docker, Git/GitHub, Artifactory, Ansible, Terraform, AWS, Azure DevOps, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong skills in one or more automation scripting (i.e. Java, Python, YAML, JSON, C, C++).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
  • Expertise in writing CI/CD-based code for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Proficiency with Linux and MacOS command line environments.
  • Proven track record in code reuse and defect remediation.
  • Passion for achieving operational excellence through automation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in coaching or creating Dojos.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,750.00 - $190,125.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
