About the Channel Program Specialist: 

MarketStar is looking for a Channel Program Specialist to support our Channel sales team. This position supports business development, marketing and data analytics for a leading technology manufacturer, tracking program participation and eligibility. 

  

Location:  Texas - Remote (Houston area ) 

  

What Will You Do? 

  • End to end channel program management including plan submission, working with PBM/channel to properly execute activities, collect POE for claims 

  • Work with resellers to build brand awareness and increase their usage and spend with the client brand we represent  

  • Drive and support partner channel program 

  • Bi-weekly data reporting (inventory, weeks on stock) 

  • Monthly dashboard to track progress vs. targets, identify opportunities to drive growth 

  • Build and manage both Internal MarketStar team and external client counterpart relationships 

  • Prepare and run regularly scheduled performance reviews monthly/quarterly/yearly with internal MarketStar peers and leadership 

  • Use data to drive planning and success  

  • Internally and externally provide customer sentiment insights including product feedback, key industry learnings, etc. 

  • Identify partners with strong program success 

  • Train/deliver product messages 

  

What Will You Need to Succeed? 

  • Experience managing and administrating a channel sales program 

  • Strong time and project management organizational skills 

  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Office 

  • Demonstrated ability to build positive business relationships 

  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills 

  • Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and adapt to change 

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to develop and implement strategic plans is preferred 

  • Previous experience with channel sales and prior experience in sales or technology required

The salary for this position is $95,000.00 annually.
