The Copywriter, LSIG, plays a pivotal role in unifying the Life Sciences Innovation Group (LSIG) operating companies under a shared vision of accelerating drug development processes by showcasing the collective impact of Danaher Life Science solutions in the Biopharmaceutical industry.
The Copywriter, LSIG, will research, create, and deliver engaging online content for key biopharmaceutical applications and audiences. The associate will understand target workflows, collaborate with internal experts, and develop online marketing materials for the Danaher Life Sciences website targeted toward our key market segments. They will ensure brand positioning follows corporate standards and is consistently articulated in all forms of communication while modifying the communication for the channel and audience. They will also expand the current content for internal and external audiences.
You will be part of the LSIG Commercial team and report to the Senior Manager, Scientific Partnerships and Workflow Innovation. This is a solutions-oriented role, requiring collaborative and innovative leadership to drive growth for the business. This is a U.S. remote role.
Responsibilities:
- Proficient writer. Capable of adapting style to the medium and tone required to clearly, concisely, and compellingly convey complex scientific and clinical messages. Ensure excellence in messaging consistency and execution by proofreading stakeholders' and personal content before deploying.
- Website Content. Familiarize themself with products and services to create and adapt copy for target personas in the biopharmaceutical market. Write clear and persuasive copy for the LSIG website that can be repurposed for email and social media channels to engage our target customer base. Create scientific web copy to pull in organic traffic through search. Work with web designers to craft compelling pages with exciting copy to drive engagement.
- Strategic Marketing Support. Participate in campaign planning workshops to understand positioning and messaging. Generate creative concepts that support marketing strategies and key account go-to-market initiatives.
- Collaborator. Work with the technical subject matter experts and marketing colleagues across the organization to develop an understanding of and messaging around key biopharmaceutical applications, e.g., human-relevant models and spatial profiling, analytical processes, and data management challenges and solutions.
- Project Management. Manage the asset creation and regulatory approval processes to ensure timelines are met. Support and manage the relationships with third-party writers and support staff involved in asset creation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree - Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or similar and 3+ years related experience in scientific technical writing and messaging to the biopharmaceutical market segment.
- Must have advanced proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office tools - Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time (domestic and international)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Life sciences, medical, diagnostics, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Postgraduate and graduate degrees are a plus.

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
