Why This Role is Exciting

As an SDR Manager at AuditBoard, you will play a pivotal role in refining and enhancing the established inbound sales development function, ensuring its continued success and scalability. You will lead a growing team of SDRs and will be involved in helping recruit, onboard, and train numerous new hires for success.  If you thrive in a fast-paced and exciting environment and want to help build out an extraordinary team and company, then this is the role for you. 

Your primary focus will be on your Inbound SDR team and aligning SDR strategies with marketing efforts for optimized lead flow and pipeline development. Your goal will be to help your team coordinate and execute activities that convert into qualified sales opportunities to drive pipeline and revenue. It will be a combination of email/phone/social interaction with prospects to share the AuditBoard value proposition, excite them about our platform, and progress them through the sales cycle. 

The SDR Manager will be entrusted with owning the optimization of the operational side of the SDR business while reporting into the VP of Demand Generation as our sales development team continues to scale.

Attributes for a Successful Candidate:

  • Previous frontline inbound SDR leadership experience in a SaaS tech industry

  • Ability to shape and implement a world class inbound strategy and processes

  • Monitoring lead processes, metrics, and strategic pipeline management based on marketing channel and scoring

  • Evaluating new technologies and programs to drive superior performance  

  • Staying abreast of and coach SDRs on best practices, serving as a mentor for your team

  • Managing the SDRs on objectives and performance achievement

  • Motivate, incentivize, and recognize team members to encourage top performance

  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members

  • A demonstrated bias towards action

  • Ownership mentality

  • Solid understanding of marketing funnels, channel performance, and lead scoring/routing methodologies

  • Basic skills in Microsoft Excel

  • Familiarity with sales engagement platform best practices

  • Experience with SFDC reporting, Outreach, and sales tools is a must

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of frontline inbound leadership experience preferred. 

  • Previous experience in sales methodologies - BANT, MEDDIC, Winning by Design 

  • Strong understanding of marketing funnels, lead scoring, and campaign management. 

  • Previous experience in the SaaS space with complex buying cycles

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret metrics, KPIs, campaign performance data. and take action where needed
