The Provider Network Assistant is responsible for assisting in provider recruitment and network maintenance, including reviewing provider contracts and applications, and providing support to Network Managers as well as the Provider Relations management team. Responsibilities and Skills expectations are set at the Entry Level for this position unless otherwise noted.

 

Job Summary Details

  • Work with office staff to collect necessary contract documents for submission
  • Manage and service network providers within assigned territory according to established guidelines
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with providers to assure stable networks
  • Work with internal and provider staff to coordinate resolution of provider and member issues
  • Educate and train providers on policies and procedures when necessary
  • Verify and monitor assigned network for accuracy
  • Process facility changes and submit them timely to update internal systems
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by management
  • Ensure network compliance with annual Attestation requirements
  • Coordinate and process provider alerts
  • Works closely with the Director in Provider Relations to support the team’s day to day operations
  • Assist management with creating agendas for team meetings and provide minutes including open tasks requiring follow-up
  • Work closely with Network Managers to update and monitor tracking tools as needed for various projects
  • Review necessary contract documents for accuracy & completeness for submission

 


Education/Experience

  • High School or GED required; College degree preferred.
  • 1year previous network management experience in a Dental PPO or DHMO environment; dental office management, managed healthcare, sales, and/or customer service experience

 

Specific Skills/Knowledge

  • Knowledge of dental terminology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English language; bilingual preferred 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Please be prepared to Complete an Online Skills Assessment as part of the Application process
  • Must be detail oriented, strong customer service skills, strong organizational and time management skills at an Intermediate Level
  • Ability to identify problems, research issues and follow through until resolved at a Basic Level
  • Medicaid or Medicare experience preferred
  • Experience in processing provider contracts preferred
  • Previous sales and customer service experience OR network management experience strongly preferred

Compensation

 

In the spirit of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00, not including fringe benefits or potential bonuses. At Liberty, your final base salary will be determined by factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We are committed to pay equity and also consider the internal equity of our current team members when making final compensation decisions.

 

Please note that the range listed represents the full base salary range for this role. Typically, offers are not made at the top of the range to allow for future salary growth.
