Job Overview
You're ready for that exciting step up to major responsibility, playing a significant part in building and maintaining network, distribution and customer growth across our Small Market & Rural Areas (SMRA). You're ready to lead a strong team of Market Managers in consulting, mentoring, and influencing SMRA leaders both inside and outside of our organization. As a Sr. Manager, you'll support your team every step of the way, interacting directly with SMRA leaders to successfully drive and grow customer penetration at an accelerated rate across the market. This person will be a community advocate, driving the T-Mobile brand in local SMRA communities through engagement, business development, and establishing sponsorships. This person must be strong in relationship building and influence, partnering with leaders from all lines of business to alleviate pain points. A successful candidate will have experience leading multi-unit teams. Frequent travel required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support a hard-working team of Market Manager, SMRA Sales who will drive brand standards, customer experience, operational execution, sales performance across a market, and business development to drive market share
- Show your Market Managers you’re invested in their success through weekly feedback and mentoring, and personalized performance management plans, as well as celebrating achievements through recognition.
- Partner closely with Engineering and Networking to understand network expansion and communicate new covered population opportunities to your team. Strengthen communication and cross-coordination with other lines of business
- Directly support COR store growth, store openings and distribution planning across your market. Including develop and implement business plans to grow customer market share of network covered population across your market.
- Drive efficiency, meeting and/or exceeding defined, monthly success measurements, company requirements and operational standards, and fully complete assigned training on time
- Support SMRA leaders to drive performance outcomes, capture themes in SMRA business opportunities or concerns, determine recommended solutions, and ensure recommended solutions are provided to internal and external business partners.
- Align with Account Managers and Business Development Managers to improve overall market position and profitability across a market of Dealer Principals, National Retailers, Authorized Retailers and Hometown Experts.
- Education:
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- Work Experience:
- 4-7 years Related Sales Consulting Experience, Including Indirect, Direct, Retail, And/Or Third Party Selling Arrangements (Required)
- 2-4 years Multi-unit management/leadership experience (Required)
- Wireless Retail Experience (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $113,900 - $205,500
Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
