*** This position will be located in Bellevue, WA; Overland Park, KS; or Frisco, TX. This is not a remote role. This is a hybrid environment, requiring 4 days a week in office.

The Sr Manager, Business Analysis leads teams that deliver big insights and helps leaders throughout the business to make critical strategic and operational decisions and shape the long-term vision of T-Mobile. The Sr Manager, Business Analysis is responsible for leading a team of experts that deliverinsights, analysis, and reporting using various analytical techniques and software including statistics, data science, data mining, machine learning and business intelligence/reporting software. The Sr. Manager Business Analysis is responsible for developing and cultivating a team culture of analytical excellence, continuous improvement and delivery of business impact. They build the executive-level story out of team analyses and present complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and decision-impacting manner. Their teams create customer-centric recommendations informed by analysis, good business sense and the ability to partner with the business to drive improvements in a matrixed environment through creativity, and effective communication. They are responsible for building strong relationships and influencing the leadership of various teams including marketing, product and platform teams. They own the team's work product and allocation of resources to those teams to support timely and impactful business decision-making.. This position also leads the design and development of reporting structures & interfaces, as well as administration of standardized reports to be applied across marketing and business teams. They are comfortable acting as an internal data SME and know where datasets are that will answer business questions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key point of contact in providing data and reporting solutions to drive enterprise results, including reports, dashboards, visuals, and self-service environments. Define product feature and campaign success metrics and benchmarks.
  • Apply analytical and modeling capability to to enhance decision making across a range of options and present findings and recommendations for prioritization of resources to all levels of the organization.
  • Interact with various teams across the T-Mobile to provide insights, analysis and recommendations that deliver data-driven, optimized experiences.
  • Act as liaison and provide leadership for team and area of responsibility. Prior experience managing a team of analytics professionals with responsibility for delegation, coaching, performance management, and prioritization and delivery of team produced work against tight deadlines. Ability to see, account for, and coach others in the "big picture" as well as the details and to be able to tie initiatives to company goals
  • Construct executive-level presentations and present complex analytical findings in clear, concise and decision-impacting manner. Possess the ability to influence leadership through fact-based analysis.

  • Bachelor's Degree Data analysis, data science, decision science, similar quantitative fields or equivalent practical experience (Required)

  • Work Experience:
  • 4-7 years Analytics experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches (Required)
  • 4-7 years Reporting and analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau, Power Bi, etc.).



    Advanced analytics, which includes SQL analysis of complex datasets, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis & research (Required)
  • 2-4 years Managing a team of finance or analytics professionals. (Required)
  • 4-7 years Python, R, Go or similar statistics or data science programming experience (Preferred)
  • SQL or database management experience (Required)
  • Telecommunication (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $122,900 - $221,800

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
