The CMSO Global Training & Development Team resides within our Central Managed Services Operations (CMSO). The team supports all CMSO resources with primary focus on Career Pathing & Development, Training, and New Hire Engagement. We supply a competitive advantage for CMSO by providing clear, efficient processes and programs designed to attract, enable, develop, and retain CMSO employees. The CMSO Global Training & Development Intern role will assist the CMSO Global Training & Development team member through the following tasks:
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Global Training & Development team as a CMSO Intern. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of learning and development, while contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Learning Path Audit: Conduct a comprehensive audit of all existing learning paths within our Learning Experience Platform (LXP) to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with current organizational needs.
BatChat Website Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and update of 12+ BatChat pages, our internal websites, ensuring content accuracy and a user-friendly experience.
Peakon Survey Analysis: Mine data from our employee survey platform, Peakon, to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement in our training and development programs.
Career Path Tool Administration: Assist in the administration of our new Career Path Tool, scheduled for implementation in 2025, ensuring smooth onboarding and user support.
Training Course Outlining: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop detailed outlines for training courses based on their provided content, ensuring clarity and relevance to target audiences.
LXP Migration Support: Assist in the migration of our current LXP to the new Cornerstone platform, ensuring data accuracy and smooth transition for all users.
Ad Hoc Reporting and Assistance: Provide support to the team on various ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Reporting and analytics skills are highly preferred.
Understanding of technical writing principles is a plus.
Experience in instructional design or curriculum development is beneficial.
Video editing skills are a valuable asset.
Strong understanding of learning theory and adult learning principles.
Proficiency in survey design and data analysis techniques.
Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Highly organized, structured, and process-oriented with a strong emphasis on attention to detail.
Team building skills are a plus.
Available to college students returning to school in the fall of 2025.
Able to work in a flexible work environment as the entire team is remote.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
