Storeperson

The Role

We are looking to recruit a Storeperson to join our Wigram warehouse on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the primary responsibilities of this position include: 

• Picking and packing orders ensuring safe work practices are followed
• Ensure inwards goods are received in line with company procedures
• Conducting cycle counting and investigations as required
• General warehouse duties

About You

To be successful you will have;

• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate computer literacy
• Hands on approach and a collaborative orientation to drive team culture
• High motivation levels to be self-managed, working without direct supervision
• Strong attention to detail, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a warehousing operation within a high-volume environment (advantageous)
• Strong communication and customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
• The ability to follow existing procedures and adapt to new procedures to ensure timely delivery of objectives

Desired skills

• Current forklift license
• Previous warehouse experience with tracking and operational software packages
