Knowledge Mgmt Specialist II

The Knowledge Management Specialist will be responsible for coordinating, standardizing and synchronizing the Technology (R&D) Department’s product-information needs. This will include working with internal, external (incl International) and cross functional teams throughout the enterprise to define and implement business processes and data-management practices that support an efficient Enterprise PLM system. Department activities include Business Process & NPD Process definition, Product Definition coordination, Change Management Process definition, cross functional coordination, systems training, and Contract Manufacturer collaboration. This role will span all Technology (R&D) related to the design of Beverages, Portion Packs and Appliances, which includes Product Specifications, Intellectual Asset information, and Safety & Regulatory Compliance information.

• A bachelor’s degree
• 0-2 years of experience in industrial or consumer products.
• Problem solving and decision-making skills are necessary.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and collaboration skills. Fluent in Written and Spoken English is required as the working language is English. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage to converse with and lead our local suppliers.
• Computer skills spreadsheet, word processing, e-mail, database systems. Enjoys working in a fast-paced High-Performance Team environment and executing routine tasks as needed.
• May work independently or with direct guidance of a senior staff member.
• Will be responsible to assist with Product Definition activities such as creating product data models (BOM's), following-up with content owners & authors on required information/data, including reference information.
• Participate in Change Management activities as required.
• Participate in historical information migration activities to new System(s) such as Teamcenter, Solidworks, SWIM, Sharepoint, or others.
• Participate in the publication of Policies, Procedures, Training Materials, and Standards for efficient document management.
• Will demonstrate a strong information management aptitude and be skilled in the basic use of company softwares and PLM systems.
• Ensure all Product information is clear, concise, complete, and accurate.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient workplace and may assist with the ordering/procurement of departmental supplies.
