Intelligent Automation Engineer

Overview

Compensation: $66,000 - $97,000 based on experience and credentials

Location Type: Remote

The Intelligent Automation Engineer will be responsible for supporting the RPA COE goals of the business. Key responsibilities include operations transformation, foundational capabilities, core development of the BOTS, setting up standards for coding, monitoring, general best practices, and supporting program delivery in partnership with the CIO and line of business teams. This individual supports one or more strategic RPA initiatives through all phases of the lifecycle. An ideal candidate brings deep subject matter expert knowledge and proven delivery experience across multiple RPA technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards, methodologies, and shared capability development in line with the goals of promoting RPA adoption and delivery excellence
• Act as a key member of the capability team
• Support other functions across strategy, process design, infrastructure, governance, and community of practice
• Maintain and code UiPath applications
• Provide RPA design, testing, training, and implementation support
• Develop and perform robot testing
• Correct defects identified during testing and re-execute tests to validate results
• Provide detailed analysis of efficiencies related to system enhancement and automation
• Participate in integrating activities for successful implementation and support of project efforts
• Assist with the pilot of Business automation tool upgrades, innovative tool evaluations, and configuration of new automation tools
• Review test results, document test activities, and record remedial actions
• Ensure proper analysis of problems and develop programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage
• Ensure the UiPath platform solution is implemented with UiPath best practices
• Create robots within UiPath Studio and deploy them to UiPath Orchestrator
• Problem-solve issues that arise in the day-to-day running of automation processes and provide timely responses with solutions
• Develop and maintain relationships with business subject matter experts to support successful delivery
• Escalate issues that may impact the timeline to leadership and propose resolutions
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, MIS, or equivalent certifications (A comparable combination of work experience and training may be substituted for education requirements)
• 2+ years of Intelligence Automation experience
• 1+ years of coding experience with technologies such as .NET or Java, Soap and Rest services, etc.
• Experience in programming .NET, JavaScript, HTML
• Experience in T-SQL
• Experience applying OCR, ML, and AI tools with an RPA tool
• Experience with source control foundations like TFS and Git
• Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems
• Ability to communicate information that requires explanation or interpretation
• Ability to work independently and proactively drive to deadline
