Job Description

Project Controls Specialist

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen.

The Project Controls role is responsible for effective project monitoring and reporting by leveraging tools like Power BI, Kahua, Excel, and SharePoint. This role focuses on streamlining processes to track project performance, manage financials, and ensure data-driven decision-making, all while maintaining consistency across projects.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Controls Specialist: $

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Project Controls Specialist Responsibilities Include:

  • Create, manage, and optimize dashboards using Power BI and Excel to provide real-time insights into project performance, financials, and KPIs.
  • Handle financial reconciliation of budgets and contract amounts, ensuring alignment with project goals and financial accuracy.
  • Use Kahua and SharePoint to manage project documentation, collaboration, and integrate project control systems.
  • Track and report project performance metrics, providing insights for project adjustments.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Project Controls Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and Kahua for project management, reporting, and collaboration.
  • Experience in financial management, including budgeting, cost analysis, and contract reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical skills to manage increasing complexity in diverse business needs.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
