Job description

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights? We're looking for a AI Architect to join our Information Services team and play a key role in shaping our enterprise data and technology landscape. In this role, you'll drive innovation, standardize data practices, and partner across business domains to create a unified approach to AI architecture that supports our corporate goals. This is an exciting opportunity to impact our business strategy directly and work in a space where your technical expertise will guide the future of data and AI at our organization.

 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

 

  • Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000, plus annual bonus opportunity
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

 

  • Standardizes the organization's AI development environment, providing strategic coordination, tactical governance, and aligning solutions with business objectives.
  • Designs, develops, and implements innovative AI and machine learning solutions that drive business growth and regulatory compliance.
  • Develops and enforces an ethical AI framework addressing bias, fairness, transparency, and accountability to ensure responsible use of AI technologies.
  • Provides expert consultation on complex projects and cross-business domain initiatives while partnering with internal and external stakeholders to integrate enterprise data and AI models.
  • Leads the development and communication of the enterprise data and AI strategy, including the vision, roadmap, and architecture to promote alignment and innovation across the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

 

  • 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing solutions; and an expertise in data science methods, AI, machine learning, and scalable data architectures, with experience in designing enterprise-level AI systems.
  • Proficiency in AI concepts, algorithms, and techniques, including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and emerging methodologies like explainable AI and federated learning.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure AI) and big data technologies (e.g., EMR, Spark), along with programming skills in Python or similar languages.
  • Strong technical foundation in aligning AI architectures with business strategy, regulatory compliance, data privacy, and security standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of data and AI products, including their content, quality, interrelationships, and potential use cases, with a focus on driving innovation and business growth.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
