Role: The Specialist - Global Compensation reports to the Vice-President of Human Resources and works closely with the Human Resources and management teams.

The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor and key player for the management team on compensation best practices (monetary and non-monetary), benefits, salary forecasts, market data analysis, compensation budget and mid- and long-term compensation strategy.

Your Day with Equisoft

  • Assess, propose and implement enhancements to our compensation programs, policies and processes in collaboration with the HR team 
  • Stay updated on best practices to ensure competitive compensation offerings
  • Provide strategic recommendations, and implement policies, and programs supporting the global compensation strategy 
  • Perform market research and statistical analysis to develop our Global Compensation strategy 
  • Champion, along with the HR Business Partners, the compensation exercise and bonus calculation processes 
  • Recommend and benchmark benefit plans, including health, welfare, and retirement, to ensure competitiveness and compliance with local regulations
  • Ensure the cost-effective implementation and renewal of benefits programs on an international scale 
  • Develop coaching and training materials related to their area of expertise for both managers and HR team  

Requirements 

  • B.A. in Administration, Industrial Relations, Actuarial Science, Human Resources or other relevant training 
  • 8+ years’ experience in global compensation 
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ease in dealing with members of all levels of management in the organization and with external resources 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Be trustworthy and act with integrity 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel 
  • Excellent knowledge of French and English (oral and written)  

Nice to Haves: 

  • Knowledge of Spanish 
  • CPHR Member  
  • Experience in information technology industry
  • Experience with international companies
