The Director, Product Strategy will be a key role in Labcorp’s new product launch process. The successful candidate will lead key Product Strategy and Planning for the Biopharma Life Sciences business, partnering with Business Leaders and Product Managers to drive revenue growth and profitability within the portfolio.
Working with a cross-functional stakeholder groups, the Director will own and evolve the roadmap of high-impact product and service offering launches within a 2-3 year time horizon, facilitate key go-to-market planning discussions on upcoming product launches, and help align Labcorp’s Sales and Marketing resources to embed best practices and optimize revenue impact of these launches.

Primary Responsibilities
Analyze industry trends, customer needs, competitive threats, expansion opportunities and internal performance across the Biopharma Life Sciences portfolio
Partner with Product Managers and Market Insights team to lead comprehensive market assessments for new product opportunities make prioritization recommendations to Senior Management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Finance, Technology, R&D, Market Access, Clinical) across our Biopharma Life Sciences product portfolio, to own and evolve a tiered roadmap of high-impact product launches
Work with Marketing and Sales to drive partnership with our Biopharma Life Sciences business, to support timely and effective sales activation for key product launches
Facilitate data-driven discussions to evaluate success of new product launches post-launch and share lessons learned to embed best practices across organization
Measure and report on portfolio performance, assessing impact to revenue growth and profitability for key products
Required Experience
12+ years experience
5+ years in Product Strategy, Product Development and/or Product Management in Health Care driving market growth and expansion
Experience working with Commercialization of Services businesses
Experience with conceptual evaluation, analytical exercises and financial modeling – with ability to succinctly interpret data and strategic frameworks for executives
Experience developing market overviews, understanding competitive positioning, analyzing market trends and understanding customer needs
Demonstrable experience in delivering results with large-scale, cross-functional teams
Strong track record with executive communication, presentation and facilitation
Undergraduate degree

Pay Range $170,000 - $190,000 annually plus bonus eligibility
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
LBP Eligible Positions: The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.
