Job Title: Junior Developer

Location and Workplace: Remote (HQ in Cebu City)

Summary

GoTeam is currently in search of a Junior Developer to play a pivotal role in enhancing data workflows and delivering actionable insights. You’ll leverage Knime to design and maintain workflows for efficient data transformation, collaborate across teams, and support data-driven decision-making. If you’re detail-oriented and passionate about backend development, this role offers a dynamic environment to grow and excel.

About The Job

Team Size: 3 team members

Key Duties

  • Reviewing and refining existing Knime workflows and rules to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Building new data consolidation processes, rules, and queries to support business operations.
  • Collaborating with team members to understand data requirements and translate them into Knime workflows and analysis.
  • Developing, testing, and maintaining Knime workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Conducting exploratory data analysis and creating visualizations to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Supporting the development of dashboards, reports, and KPIs to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Assisting in data cleaning, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Performing ad hoc analysis as requested by different departments and stakeholders.
  • Documenting Knime workflows and data processes for future reference and compliance.
  • Working in sprints to develop and deploy solutions.


Skills And Experience

Essential Skills:

  • Experience with Knime, including workflow development, component development, data manipulation, analytics, and version management using Knime Business Hub.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis concepts, data cleaning, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce SOQL language.
  • Experience with SQL and database technologies.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, CRM Analytics).
  • Good problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • A self-learner who is not afraid to try and fail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate complex data findings into clear insights.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with other data analytics platforms or programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
  • Experience in a business environment, especially working with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and best practices in data handling
