PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
Job Summary
As a Procurement Specialist for Trustmarque you will perform a vital role in managing our relationships with our supply base, working in partnership with them to ensure the best value for our customers. You will be the main point of contact for your assigned suppliers and will be required to take ownership of managing commercial agreements, resolving disputes and promoting your supplier’s product set to the business.
Supporting the wider business with any internal procurement requirements – sourcing products, supplier selection and onboarding and raising orders will also be expected within your role.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating and maintaining relationships with your assigned suppliers
- Ongoing monitoring of supplier performance and compliance
- Negotiating commercial agreements and supply contracts
- Maintaining accurate purchase records
- Onboarding new suppliers, ensuring compliance to our policies and procedures
- Providing support to our Bids function in responding to tender submissions
- Assisting the wider business with sourcing, supplier selection and ordering for internal purchases
- Maintaining data accuracy and providing reporting on key supplier metrics

- Be able to build and maintain relationships with multiple contacts at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well with management and colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Attention to detail with proven ability to analyse data and act based on the output.
- Maintain high activity levels with a high degree of accuracy.
- See tasks through to completion and within agreed timescales.
- Can collate/present information clearly and effectively.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
Desirable:
- Experience using CRM and ERP systems.
- An understanding of the basic order process covering Purchase Orders, Invoices and Credit notes.
- Experience within an IT reseller.
- A strong desire to question existing process and seek continual improvements.
