At SoftServe, the Customer Data Governance team expertly designs, supports, and operates a robust Customer Data Governance framework. This dedicated team ensures seamless execution across corporate functions and delivery units, upholding stringent data processing compliance standards to safeguard and optimize our customer data integrity.

IF YOU ARE

  • Familiar with data sensitivity levels and their application within the organization
  • Knowledgeable about contractual obligations and skilled in interpreting standard contract clauses
  • Experienced in transferring and documenting the contract assessment process to ensure compliance with customer data protection requirements
  • Aware of control management and its role in covering security requirements
  • Familiar with maintaining records of data processing activities and assisting with data inventories
  • Experienced in privacy standards like GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA, and proficient in transforming these into actionable data policies
  • Strong in cooperating with delivery teams to support data-related activities
  • Comfortable with participating in audits and supporting preparations for certifications and assessments
  • Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and effective as a communicator in English
  • Confident with cross-departmental coordination to enhance data governance (nice to have)


AND YOU WANT TO

  • Develop and support the implementation of the Customer Data Governance framework at both corporate and delivery levels
  • Monitor data processing activities to ensure compliance with privacy and security standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage customer data-related risks and ensure proper handling of contractual and regulatory obligations
  • Analyze customer contracts to assess obligations from both the customer’s and SoftServe’s perspectives
  • Cooperate with technical experts to evaluate controls and their coverage of contractual commitments at both corporate and delivery levels
  • Design and implement effective data management processes in collaboration with Data Governance leadership, corporate departments, and delivery teams
  • Prepare for, and support, internal and external audits along with certification processes
  • Enhance data management practices by assisting in the classification, registration, updating, transferring, archiving, and disposal of data

  • Implement and improve the Customer Data Governance framework to ensure compliance and efficiency at all organizational levels.
  • Strengthen customer data security and governance practices to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Contribute to the preparation and successful completion of audits and certifications.
