Job Summary
As an ERP Systems Financial Specialist, you will act as a skilled and knowledgeable team member whose role is to provide the business support and deliver best practices around the design and implementation of ERP applications and solutions in line with the business requirements. You will be a trusted partner to the business in providing ERP applications and solutions with a financial focus.
Job Responsibilities
User Support in troubleshooting both ERP and business process issues.
Analyze user operational procedures to develop functional systems requirements and advise and instruct other staff responsible for development.
Improve process flow and user documentation for different ERP related modules and enhance user knowledge and competency.
Other duties as assigned based on business needs: i.e., special projects, Enhancements etc.
Responsible for project tracking and control for assigned modules or systems, serving as a liaison between functional and technical resources to manage the development of new system functionality, upgrades, system modifications, and day-to-day problem analysis, issue tracking, and resolution.
Ability to translate the functional and non-functional business requirements into a technical solutions design.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience with:
Working with large ERP applications with emphasis on Finance (e.g. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash Management and Sub ledger Accounting) in a manufacturing environment.
Financial data analysis and reporting
Creating/maintaining functions, stored procedures, etc. and using SQL in a Relational database environment (preferably Oracle).
Working with Microsoft products specifically SSRS, Excel and Access.
Ability to effectively work with end users and business teams for requirements gathering, understanding customer needs, testing, etc.
U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Finance, or other related fields of study
Experience with common finance business practices like EDI, Supplier Financing Programs, and automated invoicing.
Experience with complex account reconciliations in standard and actual costing environments.
Experience with CINCOM Control and Unit4 Financials.
Ability to be proactive and take initiative.
Works independently with minimal guidance required.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem solving skills.
Experience working in an Aerospace and Defense environment.
