Job description

Overview:

Design, develop, modify, and integrate Saas solutions with other systems and Saas solutions within Lifeway. The Software Integration Developer will utilize a variety of technical approaches to accomplish seamless data flowing between systems, including RESTful APIs, consuming and publishing events, and using modern cloud architectures.

This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings. #LI-Remote 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, collaborate, and coordinate with developers, managers, and analysts from other teams to design and implement integrations to support the flow of data between systems such as CRM, ERP, HR, WMS, eCommerce, and custom applications. 
  • Analyze and improve existing system integration as well as migration techniques. 
  • Detect, debug, and resolve issues with existing integrations. 
  • Architect, design, and implement integrations with an enterprise focus, utilizing the right approach for the right use case, including a mix of event-driven design, RESTful services, and more. 
  • Mentor and train other developers. 
Qualifications:

Minimum Education 

  • Bachelor's degree or reputable coding bootcamp in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field. 

 

Minimum Required Experience (Type and Years) 

  • 7+ years experience as a developer
  • 3+ years experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or similar)

 

KSAs (knowledge/skills/abilities)

  • Proficient with RESTful services, microservices, and cloud architecture required.
  • Proficient with event-driven, domain driven design, and serverless principles in the cloud.
  • Advanced in debugging, troubleshooting, developing, and testing code.
  • Proficient in querying databases, data warehouses, and basic understanding of database design.
  • Proficient in build pipelines, code quality, automated unit testing, source control, and branching strategies for coding and deployments.
  • Proficient with Agile.
  • Logical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Inquisitive self-starter and team player.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and train more junior developers.
