Job Description

  • Develop and implement financial strategies and systems aligned to the company's business strategy
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and forecasting to stakeholders
  • Manage financial risk, forecast long-term financing needs and liquidity
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies, preferably someone who understands the Australian accounting standards, tax, compliance and payroll matters
  • Manage relationship with auditors and relevant statutory organizations
  • Oversee accounting operations, design and review fiscal policies
  • Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions


The Successful Applicant

A Successful Financial Controller Should Have

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field, preferably chartered (CPA/CA)
  • Strong technical background in financial reporting and understanding of accounting standards
  • Good knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (advanced excel, Zero accounting software)
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
