This strategic leadership role is responsible for overseeing and driving the successful execution of high-impact projects across the organization. The position involves managing multiple projects, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all initiatives meet their objectives, timelines, and financial targets. The Director serves as a critical link between executive leadership, project teams, and stakeholders.

Description

Project Oversight

  • Lead regular project meetings, providing updates, resolving conflicts, and making decisions to keep projects on track.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of product development projects and programs.
  • Monitor progress to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Evaluate risks and develop mitigation plans to address potential challenges.
  • Ensure quality assurance and adherence to established standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the primary contact between project teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and efficient resource allocation.
  • Drive consensus and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum.

Strategic Leadership

  • Organize and facilitate the stage-gate process for all projects.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies and best practices.
  • Align project priorities with organizational goals to support long-term objectives.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with leadership to manage the organization's product pipeline portfolio.

Financial and Resource Management

  • Deliver regular financial and progress reports to executive leadership.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance project management efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, tools, and technologies to maintain competitiveness.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to gather insights for future initiatives.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10+ years of experience as a Project Manager, specifically overseeing new product development for consumer goods.
  • PMP certification is highly preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the product development lifecycle, from conception to launch.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Microsoft Project).
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills to coordinate, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Commitment to delivering results and fostering a culture of accountability.

Job Offer

  • $130,000 - $150,000 Base Salary
