ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY  

We are seeking a strategic Director, Client Services with extensive SEO and digital marketing experience for Enterprise organizations. Strong English proficiency (both written and verbal) is required as this role involves regular communication with international stakeholders.  

The Client Service Director is a client-facing role for an established digital marketer and natural leader with deep expertise in organic search strategies. This role is at the forefront of our business for clients, and ultimately responsible for the client relationship and business partnership. Working both as an individual contributor and collaboratively with a team, this role is responsible for the overall client experience- from delivery quality to alignment with client goals and outcomes.  

The ideal candidate for this role has a strong SEO background with broad digital marketing knowledge, is comfortable with and excels in a fast-moving agency environment, is a self-starter who demonstrates exceptional communication skills, is adept at leading multiple clients in a book of business - including enterprise organizations, and brings a data-centric problem solving mindset to every engagement.  

Candidates must reside and be eligible to work in Colombia and be fluent in English and Spanish. 

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES 

Reporting to our Managing Director and VP Operations, the Director, Client Services will have the following responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Lead the account direction and cross-team coordination of internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class SEO and digital marketing solutions to clients across a variety of industries
  • Be the agency's front lines and liaison with clients, with particular emphasis on organic search strategy and performance
  • Be the go-to expert for your client's SEO objectives and overall business goals, ensuring our work drives successful outcomes
  • Lead relationships for the agency with Director, VP, and C-level client stakeholders
  • Lead the cross-department teams in developing coherent marketing strategies that integrate NP Digital's SEO-first approach with broader digital marketing services to meet client's business objectives
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow and expand business aligned to NP Digital capabilities, with focus on organic search and content opportunities
  • Proactively identify obstacles and risks that could impact budget and resources
  • Guide clients through SEO strategy development, implementation, and performance optimization

ABOUT YOU 

  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing with strong focus on SEO and organic search strategy
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, and organic search optimization
  • 3+ years experience leading Enterprise level clients and managing complex SEO programs
  • Understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and industry best practices
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms
  • A passion for problem solving and providing exceptional client service
  • Excellent communication skills with advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) required for international client interactions
  • Ability to articulate complex SEO concepts and strategies clearly in English to senior stakeholders
  • Proven experience developing integrated digital strategies with SEO as the cornerstone, complemented by content marketing and other digital channels
  • Experience building and growing client relationships and business at the VP/C-level
  • Experience managing and growing a team of direct reports, and/or developing cross-functional teams of indirect reports
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in SEO data analysis and reporting
  • Working knowledge of technical web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics)
