As the Director of Corporate Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving Fullscript’s growth trajectory through strategic mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate development investments. Your primary focus will be identifying, evaluating, and executing M&A opportunities that align with Fullscript’s mission and long-term objectives. You will collaborate with executive leadership to shape and execute growth initiatives, lead deal negotiations, and manage transactions from strategy and sourcing through due diligence, underwriting, integration, and synergy realization.
Reporting directly to the President & Chief Financial Officer, you will join a collaborative team of passionate professionals who thrive on strategic execution, rapid iteration, and driving meaningful impact in the healthcare and wellness space.
What You'll Do:Mergers and Acquisitions:Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including opportunity sourcing, identification, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiations.Conduct comprehensive financial and strategic analyses to assess acquisition targets and identify potential risks and synergies.Partner with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless execution and integration of transactions.
Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification:Conduct deep research and analysis of market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities in the healthcare and wellness sectors.Identify high-impact acquisition and investment opportunities that align with Fullscript’s strategic objectives.Stay informed of regulatory changes and industry innovations to anticipate potential opportunities or challenges.
Deal Execution:Develop robust financial models to evaluate the strategic and financial viability of potential transactions.Build and present compelling investment cases to executive leadership and key stakeholders.Lead negotiations to achieve advantageous deal terms that maximize value for Fullscript.
Post-Merger Integration:Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and implement integration plans that maximize synergies and ensure a smooth transition.Monitor and measure post-acquisition performance to ensure strategic goals are met and value is realized.
Strategic Partnerships:Explore and evaluate strategic partnerships and joint ventures that complement Fullscript’s growth strategy.Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including potential partners, investment banks, and venture capital firms.
