Your mission

As the Programme Delivery Intern at Zulu Ecosystems (ZE), you will support a small and high-performing team focused on scaling our nature-based solutions offering into the US. You will contribute to the delivery of contracted projects and explore new business development opportunities within US natural capital markets. Day-to-day, the Programme Delivery Intern will support a range of activities, including geospatial analysis, report writing, and data management.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the ZE US-focussed team to deliver a range of project deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Collate, clean and process datasets relevant to project delivery, and use them to make actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Synthesise project work into reports and presentations for clients with limited sectoral knowledge.
  • Keep track of new developments and emerging trends within relevant ecosystem service markets.
Your profile

Requirements:

  • A love of nature and a strong commitment to help solve the climate and nature crises.
  • Strong understanding of ecosystem markets (carbon, biodiversity, water), with knowledge of the US context a plus.
  • Willingness to delve into the details to thoroughly understand a natural capital problem or opportunity.
  • Full proficiency in QGIS, with good knowledge of Python and SQL software integrations.
  • Strong data analysis skills across both qualitative (e.g. law/regulation) and quantitative contexts.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently to deliver project work to a high standard.
