Job description

Are you a entry-level professional interested in starting your career in business development and/or proposal capture management. If so, then this is the right opportunity for you!

ICF seeks a Capture Coordinator to join our team in supporting our efforts to win and maintain work across Health and Human Services. The individual will support our Capture Directors in executing capture plans for recompetes and new opportunities. The Capture Coordinator will gain exposure to a variety of projects through work across our portfolio of health, workforce, and social programs projects. 

This role will ideally be a hybrid work arrangement from one of our ICF office locations. Remote employment will also be considered. 

In this role you will:

  •  Coordinate meetings, including managing calendars, providing technical support, taking notes, and recording action items,

  • Organize files and information for projects,

  • Set up virtual white boards for brainstorming,

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and graphics,

  • Respond promptly to internal requests for information,

  • Provide administrative support for capture,

  • Conduct market and competitor research; synthesizing results for quick uptake by busy staff,

  • Complete other administrative/data related tasks as assigned.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of these related fields: sales, business, communications, social science, and public health). 

  • 1+ years of experience conducting qualitative research,

  • 1+ years of experience consulting with Federal or State-level/local governmental agencies resulting in a general understanding of government contracting mechanisms and business cycles.

What we would love for you to have:

  • 1+ years of experience with business development processes and/or proposal development.

  • Exposure to a standardized Capture Process (example: Shipley, company-specific, etc.).

  • Working knowledge of typical capture development tools (Govwin.com, Deltek, Salesforce, etc.)

  • Have strong critical and analytical thinking skills as well as strong time management skills.

  • Have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment balancing competing deadlines and requests.

  • Possess an exceptional level of attention to detail.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$60,663.00 - $103,128.00
