Job description

Responsibilities:

Your Day If You Join Us:

  • Leading the end-to-end configuration of Service Provider (SP) connections, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and customers to troubleshoot technical issues and guide configuration changes.
  • Developing a defined, repeatable process for SP connections, minimizing errors and misconfigurations.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for technical support during federation integrations, including conducting SAML/Network traces to identify and resolve issues.
  • Proactively engaging internal resources and stakeholders to overcome competing priorities and knowledge gaps.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and knowledge transfer to improve team capabilities.
  • Supporting additional tasks related to MAG SP, SAM EAG, MAG EAG connections, ProviderPass implementations, and API integrations.
    • Managed Access Gateway (MAG) Exostar’s Identity & Access Management platform for Aerospace and Defense (SAML Based federation)
    • Secure Access Manager (SAM) Exostar’s Identity & Access Management platform for Life Sciences/Healthcare (SAML and OAuth/OIDC Based federation)
    • Enterprise Access Gatway (EAG) – This allows organizations to federate with Exostar using their federation service (setting up organization as an RIDP)
    • ProviderPass – This is Exostar’s API driven process to support the prescribing and e-signing of controlled substances.
  • Designing and architecting scalable solutions for customers leveraging your deep technical knowledge and understanding of their business needs.

Basic Qualifications:

You Meet Our "Must Haves" for This Role If:

  • Experience in Federation Protocols: You have a strong working knowledge of SAML and OAuth/OIDC.
  • Expertise in Federation Integrations: You are knowledgeable of MS Azure/Entra B2B and B2C federation integrations, including associated Policy XML files, Ping Federate (setting up SP profiles, exporting metadata, etc.), and Okta.
  • Database Proficiency: You have a solid understanding of SQL databases used in configuring SP and EAG connections and are comfortable writing and executing related queries.
  • End-to-End Process Knowledge: You understand the complete configuration processes for SP, MAG SP, SAM EAG, MAG EAG, and ProviderPass, including potential points of failure.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: You have the ability to perform SAML and network traces, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Customer-Facing Skills: You are comfortable leading technical discussions with customer teams to troubleshoot and guide configuration changes.
  • Proactive Engagement: You take the initiative to involve appropriate internal resources and resolve technical challenges effectively.
  • System Access & Visibility: You are equipped to access and work within the necessary systems and databases required to complete tasks successfully.
  • API Expertise: You are knowledgeable of Exostar’s API process and supported .wsdl and API calls, and can work with tools like Postman, SOAPUI, and SailPoint.
  • Solutions Architecture: You bring a solutions architect mindset, with the ability to design scalable, customer-centric solutions that address technical and business challenges.
  • Due to customer requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.  Ability to gain and maintain Trusted Role is required.
