We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. This position is based in our headquarters office located in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a strong understanding of current design trends, and the ability to create visually compelling materials across various media. You will work closely with the Art Director and the global creative team to produce high-quality designs that align with our brand guidelines and strategic objectives. 

Essential duties  

  • Design and produce print and digital marketing materials. 
  • Develop original visual assets for various media, utilizing the right images, typography, graphics, and layouts for a wide range of projects. 
  • Follow through on design projects from conception to completion, in close collaboration with the Art Director and Creative Traffic Manager. 
  • Collaborate with colleagues on tasks such as marketing needs for product launches, image manipulation, and file maintenance.  
  • Stay informed with design trends and industry best practices. 
  • Provide support to the creative team with various tasks and projects as needed. 

Skills and experience  

  • 1-2 years of hands-on graphic design experience. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva. 
  • Resourceful and proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. 
  • Understanding of typefaces, font styling, and text arrangement to enhance readability and visual appeal. 
  • Knowledge of color relationships, palettes, and the impact of color on perception. 
  • Ability to effectively organize visual elements to create aesthetically pleasing and functional designs that adhere to brand standards. 
  • Skilled in creating digital assets for social media, web, and email marketing campaigns. 
  • Experience in print design, with an understanding of print production processes, file preparation, print specifications, file formats, and quality control. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail. 

  

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field 
  • Online portfolio showcasing a minimum of 5 pieces, including typography, layout design, and branding 

  

Work environment: 
Primarily studio. 3 days week in office, 2 days a week remote.  Intermittent locations, trade shows, events, and mill visits.
