About The Role

Essity's North America HR Team is looking for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Manager who will be responsible for the Compensation & Benefits process and assists with the delivery of the HR strategy. The role provides Comp & Ben HR support or services to all business units in North America and ensures organizational efficiency and synergies as well as compliance with local country laws and regulations. This is a hybrid position, located at our Philadelphia PA office - it is not a 100% remote position.

What Will You Do
  • Provides Compensation and Benefits support and contributes to global HR process delivery with input or as process member (e.g., as a system super user)

  • Delivers compensation support that includes job evaluations and set up of compensation package to fulfill business unit and global HR process requirements

  • Assists with the annual salary surveys, salary and bonus processes

  • Responsible for overall administration and compliance for all North America benefit retirement and pension programs 

  • Provides recommendations regarding local retirement/pension programs

  • Responsible for overall administration of US deferred compensation program

  • Conducts budgeting and financial analysis of employee Compensation and Benefit programs

  • Ensures compliance with governmental regulations related to Compensation and Benefits programs and includes required plan testing, plan audits and SOX compliance

  • Primary contact with Compensation and Benefits consultants and plan providers

  • Responsible for oversight of the management of vendor systems and technology to support the benefit plans. Works closely with Payroll and Employee Services as it relates to benefits

  • Coordinates and/or executes global and local specific process or policy delivery across business units and facilitates-related interaction between business units to ensure equal treatment and pay equity

  • Proposes harmonization of specific HR processes at country level and implements, in-line with HR Global and business unit principles, policies and guidelines

  •  Implements specific Global Compensation and Benefits policies and local legal requirements

  • Provides support for Mobility (International Assignments etc.) to local HR and Managers and provide input to Mobility HQ

  • Provides expert advice and manages vendor relations and contributes to a service culture to fulfill the service level agreement

Who You Are

  • Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation and benefits

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business, human resources or related field and six years of progressively responsible experience in employee compensation and benefits
