Senior Project/Programme Manager

We're recruiting for a senior Project Manager to join us on a permanent basis.

As a Project Manager at Fintel IQ, you’ll play a significant role in the management of a range of fintech projects varying in size and complexity, working throughout the development lifecycle, from inception to handing over to BAU.

This role is focussed on the delivery of client facing projects through design, build and implementation phases of large-scale enterprise deals involving significant complexity and a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.

This role will report directly into the divisional Chief Operating Officer, Fintel IQ.

What you'll be doing

• You’ll integrate with cross-functional business teams across IQ such as product management, software delivery, release & change management and PMO teams, ensuring our business is geared up to support any new technology
• Build and maintain close working relationships with key client and internal contacts, including leading all project steering meetings and all project reporting
• Ensuring projects are correctly scoped, planned and delivered and responsibility for key project management activities such as risk mitigation, change management and the coordination of development teams
• Helping execute continuous improvement processes to ensure that projects are improving upon completion
• Working with a multitude of stakeholders across various remits and ensure business needs match the requirements, working collaboratively across Fintel IQ to align priorities and ensure that there is consistency in the digital journey across all brands

What you need to succeed

• Previous experience as a Project Manager working across the whole project lifecycle, managing multiple complex projects preferably in a financial services and/or software implementation role
• Prince 2 or Agile project management qualification is highly desirable
• Ability to exercise initiative and take responsibility for ongoing decision making to ensure multiple projects are co-ordinated efficiently
• You’ll be personable, have great communication skills, be resilient and able to manage a busy workload
• Ability to cope under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy, with ability to work independently, assess priorities and manage own workload effectively
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team with staff at all levels
