About job

NB: The role is primarily remote, offering flexibility and convenience. However, during the probation period, it follows a hybrid model with 2 days per week in the office, providing a great opportunity to integrate with the team while still enjoying remote work.

One role requires testing experience with Java, while the other requires experience with .NET. We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our team in Bucharest, Romania, and help shape the future of finance. In this role, you will be responsible for developing test plans, executing manual and automated tests, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage. You will collaborate with product designers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects while ensuring quality at every stage of development.

Your role will involve evaluating new testing technologies, recommending best practices, and verifying that load, scalability, and performance requirements are met. You will track defects using bug tracking systems, contribute to enhancing QA processes, and deliver high-quality software on schedule. Your efforts will directly impact the reliability and success of the product, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.

Responsibilities

1. Test Planning & Execution:
   Develop test plans, cases, and scripts for comprehensive test coverage.
   Execute manual and automated tests, including regression, performance, and scalability testing.
2. 2. Bug Identification & Management:
   Identify, analyze, and document bugs with clear reproduction steps.
   Track and manage defects using bug tracking systems to ensure timely resolution.
3. Collaboration & Quality Assurance:
   Work with product designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure quality at each development stage.
   Create real-world test scenarios to validate functionality.
4. Best Practices & Innovation:
   Recommend and implement best practices to improve product reliability and QA processes.
   Evaluate and integrate new testing technologies into the workflow.
5. Performance & Delivery:
   Verify that load, scalability, and performance requirements are met.
   Deliver high-quality software on schedule, meeting business and technical goals.

Requirements

1. Experience: 5+ years in QA, with mobile testing experience.
2. Test Development: Expertise in smoke, performance, functional, and regression testing.
3. Bug Tracking & Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Jira and QA methodologies.
4. Processes & Tools: Understanding of release processes, CI, and tools like TestRail.
5. Analysis & Communication: Ability to analyze defects and strong English communication skills.
