Product Manager

At the center of Rocket Financial is the RocketKOR Banking as a Service Platform coupled with decades and decades of fintech, payments, and banking experience. We've designed the RocketKOR Platform, and our products that use it, to deliver exceptional levels of functionality and service flexibly, driving rapid time to market and allowing unbounded innovation.

Our Product Managers take overall accountability for the design, delivery and management of RocketKOR Products and Services. This role works closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Sales to ensure the successful delivery of innovative products that meet client needs and drive business growth.

We're on the lookout for a Product leader to enhance our current iterations, as well as shape the future of the RocketKOR platform's payments capabilities. In addition, this role will be responsible for informing and executing on the Primary Account roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Development:

• Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring timely delivery

• Collaborate with engineering, design, and other teams to develop and launch products

• Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on the most impactful projects
  

• Customer Focus:

  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and understand their needs and pain points

  • Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and ensure the product meets customer expectations

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners

• Project Management:

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively

  • Monitor product performance and make necessary adjustments to meet objectives

  • Ensure cross-functional teams are aligned and working towards common goals

• Communication & Leadership:

  • Act as the main point of contact for all product-related inquiries

  • Present product updates, strategies, and results to senior management and other stakeholders

  • Mentor and guide junior team members as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Product Management, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS financial services

• Proven track record of successful product launches and experience in end-to-end product development, preferably with experience in REST API customer experiences

• Working knowledge of ACH, Wires, RTP and FedNow payment rails preferred

• Strong understanding of market research, data analysis and development of insights

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure and dynamic environment

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced tech environment

• Experience in user-centered design principles or UX/UI is a plus

• Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA) and data analytics platforms

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

• The ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet committed project timelines
