About the Role:
The Director of Business Operations is responsible for building the mechanisms to support the Care Operations teams (Care Delivery and Care Experience) to deliver high-quality service and care at scale. This role uses data to identify high priority opportunities and then drives execution to implement improvements and monitor / adapt based results. This role oversees and drives strategic initiatives for our Care Operations teams, including managing a team of analysts and project managers. The Director is responsible for continuous evaluation and project execution to enhance our Care Operations team performance driving treatment quality and patient retention.
This position requires the combined skills of collaboration, strategic thinking, and executional excellence. Applying a mastery of operational processes – from project management to monitoring metrics and engaging in complex problem-solving to address and solve cross-functional challenges – is required. This position requires strategic thinking regarding how to scale care in a fast-growing environment to ensure that we are creating sustainable systems. This individual must possess the ability to translate complex quantitative analysis into actionable business insights to catalyze initiatives and projects.
ResponsibilitiesOwn the Care Operations team strategy and planning processes to guide the development of team level goals and initiatives ensuring ability to monitor and communicate progress and impact.Create and implement a Care Operations team operating rhythm utilizing sync and async mechanisms to drive the flow of data and information, within and across teams, to effectively deliver on goals.Build out and creatively scale the team to enable execution on both existing processes and driving initiatives to improve compliance, increase efficiencies, and deliver a seamless experience to customers.Monitor data and conduct analysis to derive insights and make strategic recommendations that enable the ability to deliver goals by proactively identifying gaps and issues.Identify and implement operational improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency, scalability, and overall business performance as well as create mechanisms through which to ensure adherence to processes and ability to continually improve.Create the best practices for building and managing comprehensive project plans, ensuring deliverables are met while providing updates on risks. Apply continuous improvement and lean principles to drive a culture of change and operational excellence, including owning pilots and monitoring results to inform decisions on path forward.QualificationsBachelor's degree in business or related field.6+ years of experience in business operations, management consulting, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on strategic project management.Evidence of progressive leadership and managerial experience.Demonstrated successful project management skills and implementation of process improvement to optimize efficiencies and maximize revenue.Experience applying change management and continuous improvement methodologies - lean six sigma certification a bonus.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to use data to prioritize opportunities and influence decision-making.Demonstrated expert at setting the right goals and building mechanisms that drive clarity on performance.Demonstrated understanding of how to develop and roll out structures and processes that scale effectively.Demonstrated ability to take ownership and accountability for complex, high-impact projects.“Builder” mentality with excellent communication skills to get things done through collaboration.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, with strong prioritization and organizational skills.Physical Demands
