We invite an Middle Manual QA Engineer to join the VeliEDGE product team.

Edge is a dynamic, revolutionary client engagement and marketing automation tool to boost customer retention.

It is based on the Cloud Native Saas B2B Approach and enables businesses to automate emails, web push notifications, and SMS messages to retain customers and drive lifetime value.

Tech stack:

PHP 8, Laravel, Node.JS, React.JS, MySQL, MongoDB, AWS, Grafana, Docker, k8s, Kafka, and Redis

In this role you will:

Conduct manual testing of web and backend applications to ensure product quality
Collaborate closely with QA, Development, and Support teams to identify, document, and resolve issues
Write, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test reports
Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
Test new features and bug fixes, ensuring they meet requirements and acceptance criteria
Validate REST APIs using tools like Postman or similar
Identify potential risks, prioritize testing efforts, and contribute to the enhancement of QA processes
Communicate findings clearly with cross-functional teams to drive solutions
Sometimes participate in cross-team discussions and share ideas for improvement

Skills and experience you will need:

2+ years of experience working as a Manual QA Engineer.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience with manual testing of backend and web applications.
Experience working with REST APIs, using tools like Postman.
Solid knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Basic understanding of version control systems like Git.
Intermediate level of English for communication and documentation.
Ability to understand technical specifications and business requirements.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS

Will be a plus:

BDD approach and Gherkin syntactic
Base knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript for better understanding of applications under test.
Experience with Unix-like systems.
Exposure to performance testing concepts or tools.
Experience with monitoring tools
