Job Description

As a Lead Generation Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in driving business growth for a dynamic commercial roofing and painting company. You’ll be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential clients who need our innovative roof coating solutions and exterior painting services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to build new business relationships and contribute directly to the company’s expansion. You’ll work closely with a team of estimators and installers, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads to keep the business thriving.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct targeted outbound calls to potential commercial clients, identifying their roofing and exterior painting needs
  • Research and build a database of qualified leads in specified geographical areas
  • Qualify prospects based on project requirements, timelines, and budgets
  • Schedule on-site surveys for estimators with promising leads
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions using the company’s Excel-based tracking system
  • Collaborate with the sales team to refine lead qualification criteria and improve conversion rates
  • Stay updated on industry trends and company services to effectively communicate value propositions
  • Contribute to the overall goal of generating 100+ annual leads for the company
  • Participate in weekly performance reviews and strategy sessions to continuously improve results


Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B lead generation or telemarketing, preferably in construction or related industries
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
  • Strong research skills for identifying potential clients and gathering relevant information
  • Proficiency in using Excel for data management and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
  • Familiarity with dialer systems and lead-generation tools
  • Basic understanding of commercial roofing and exterior painting concepts (preferred but not required)
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet or exceed weekly lead-generation targets
  • Adaptability to learn and use the company’s existing management systems
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of professionalism and representing the company positively
